In an effort to reduce overburdened and stressed emergency rooms in the city due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Manitoba Chiropractors were given approval by Shared Health to remain available to Manitobans suffering from acute emergency/emergent pain. Please note that we will follow infection control guidelines and screen those patients who may be at high risk for transmission.
High-risk patients would include those who have/are:
1. traveled internationally in the past 2 weeks.
2. come in contact with someone who has traveled internationally or have come in contact with someone who was diagnosed or possibly diagnosed with COVID-19.
3. symptoms of fever, running nose, coughing, and fatigue
4. become immune-compromised from another condition or illness
If you are at high risk, we advise that you remain at home and self-isolate. You have an option where you can call our office and discuss your pain with one of our chiropractors. This is in accordance with Shared Health's policy on TeleHealth consultations over the phone for the management of acute or chronic episodes of pain. Our team will schedule you an appointment to speak to one of our chiropractors who will call you back.
Our offices will be practicing social distancing. Thank you for your patience and understanding during these times.
Changes can occur on a daily basis and we will attempt to notify you as soon as we can.
